About Us

…

Our mission:

To know Christ, and make Him known…

Welcome!

We're so glad you're here… Whether you’re new to the area, just visiting, or have lived here your whole life, ERC is a place where you will connect with others desiring a closer relationship with Jesus.

Who we are

We are a family-oriented community of believers who truly enjoy serving Christ together.  Visitors often say they can feel the genuine love and strong fellowship we share among each other.  No matter what you’ve been through, it’s very likely someone here has been there too…

We promote a culture that is non-judgmental and non-condemning - we openly acknowledge our struggles in life and understand that none of us are above the pull of temptation and sin.  For this reason, we’re real about our true need - to wholeheartedly embrace our Savior, grow in His Word and rely on His Spirit to work in us.

What to expect

At ERC, our worship style is contemporary and casual - yeah, it’s okay to wear jeans!

Sunday mornings begin with a time for fellowship at 9:00am, followed by adult, youth and children’s discipleship classes at 9:30 am.

Sunday worship service begins at 10:30 am.

Our desire is for a Spirit-filled praise and worship service, that lifts up the Lord Jesus! This time includes elements of corporate prayer and praise, scripture reading, special music and sermon (*if you have a prayer need, prayer ministry teams are available after the service).

Children ages 4-11 are dismissed to Children’s Church after offertory. There is a toddler room staffed with two volunteers each Sunday, and a nursery. We share in Holy Communion the first Sunday of every month.

Vision

Our vision is to be actively involved in fulfilling The Great Commission of Jesus Christ, and in edifying and equipping The Body of Christ as we mature in worship, fellowship, and discipleship.

Beliefs

We subscribe to the Statement of Faith of our parent organization, The Christian and Missionary Alliance.  “What The Alliance believes is foundational in its teachings about God and how He relates to us and how we relate to Him. Based on His written Word, the Bible, we are compelled to serve God and the people of His world. We live and die by these words, and believe they bring the only life worth living—one wholly committed to the King Jesus.”

Values

“What we believe determines what we value, and what we value demonstrates how we live. The Alliance has developed seven Core Values that flow out of our passion for Jesus. These Core Values are the motivation behind the mission.”
